Looking Back on the Mission

Vitória da Conquista served as a base for our mission in 2024 as we were able to visit different townships in rural areas across the region. With over 200 volunteers we served communities through teams consisting across evangelism, medical, vacation bible school and home visits connecting cultures and faith.

During the mission over 500 Brazilians professed their faith in Jesus Christ as we worked with local school districts and churches to ensure faith forward focus.

Vitória da Conquista is the third-largest city in Bahia, Brazil. Often called the “Switzerland of Bahia,” it sits at an elevation of roughly 927 meters (3,040 feet), which provides a refreshingly cool climate compared to the rest of the Brazilian Northeast.
